Local Editor
Regarding speculations over whether Shalit remained in Gaza during the five years he spent in Hamas custody, "Israeli" enemy radio indicated Shalit's confirmation that he was held in a small underground room.
According to sources close to Shalit, he had a radio and he used to listen to the enemy radio station. He also said that during Operation Cast Lead, he was aware of all events, and he used to hear bombs from places around his location.
