After the "Israeli" enemy navy intercepted two boats heading towards the Gaza Strip, the organizers of the Gaza-bound convoy vowed that more ships will attempt to break the siege on the Gaza Strip.

In an interview with "Israeli" Ynet news website, Derrick O'keefe, one of the organizers of the Canadian Tahrir (Liberation) Ship stated, "This is undoubtedly only the first wave. Other countries are also organizing groups to sail to Gaza, and in Canada we are planning to send more ships".
O'keefe further noted that there is a high anti-"Israel" campaign in Canada, where rallies were stages in four Canadian cities; Ottawa, Toronto, Ontario, and Vancouver.

"The Canadian people do not support our government's policy toward "Israel". I believe that the blockade on Gaza is unaccepted by the Canadians", the flotilla organizer stressed.
Furthermore, he accused the "Israeli" navy of taking over the ships in international waters, further holding "Israel" full responsibility for the passengers' safety.

The Canadian Tahrir (Liberation) and the Irish Saoirse ships headed towards the Gaza Strip as part of the "Freedom Waves of Gaza" to break the siege on the impoverished area.
Enemy navy forces stopped the ships and accompanied them to the Ashdod port.
