Salehi: No Sign of Diversion in Nuclear Program

Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has once again emphasized the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program, adding that there is no evidence of diversion.
Salehi made the remarks in the Armenian capital Yerevan on Tuesday, in response to the latest International Atomic Energy Agency report on Iran.
He went on to say that the Islamic Republic is on the frontline of the campaign against nuclear weapons, according to IRNA.
"There is no conclusive evidence that Iran wants to build a nuclear bomb," he said, adding "the West is trying to put pressure on Iran without any legal proof."
IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano's latest report on Iran's nuclear activities was distributed to the 35 members of the Board of Governors of the agency on Tuesday evening, ahead of the seasonal meeting of the board, which is scheduled to be held in Vienna from November 17 to 18.
The US and its allies accuse Iran of pursuing a military nuclear program and used the false charge as a pretext to convince the UN Security Council to impose a fourth round of sanctions on Iran. Yet, Tehran has rejected the allegations as it is a signatory of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), and has the right to develop nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.
