US to Relocate Troops from Iraq to Kuwait
The US government decided that 4000 of its troops will be transferred to Kuwait after the withdrawal from Iraq by the end of the current year.
According to AFP, The US army Brigade Combat Team will be deployed from Iraq to Kuwait to stand as a reserve force.
This comes after Pentagon appealed to shift at least 4000 soldiers from Iraq, pending a final decision by US military planners and Kuwaiti leaders.
According to the US army unit's social network Facebook page, the troops will complete their 12-month tour in Kuwait, after it began in July 2011 in Iraq.
Moreover, the US army had already employed 23,000 soldiers in Kuwait, and is now seeking expansion of troops and domination in the Middle East and Gulf region.
