Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi declared Saturday that
"his armed forces are completely ready to confront enemies' threats."

"Locally-built naval torpedoes will be delivered to Iranian Navy soon. Iran will make designing and building military submarines, long-range missiles as well as naval Cruise missiles operational soon," he unveiled.

Commenting on recent "Israeli" threats of launching a military attack against Iran, he stressed that "the rhetoric shows weakness of Zionist regime's on Iran's might."

He added the "vain remarks of Zionist regime show deep concerns of the regime about its internal collapse."

"The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will give a mighty response to any aggressor and any country which threatens it," The Iranian minister emphasized.

Describing US officials' allegations against Iran as "baseless", Vahidi viewed that "recent terrorist allegation against Iran lacks international credit. The fact that the IAEA has taken the same path of the US is a politically-motivated issue and has lowered the agency's international image."

"The US seeks a wrong strategy to isolate Iran and prevent its participation in regional and international issues. Today, the message of the Islamic Republic of Iran is so firmly-established in the region and the world which will not be faded away by these tricks," he concluded.
