Russian Foreign Ministr Sergei Lavrov announced that conditions are ripe for talks with Iran.

Addressing a joint press conference with his EU counterpart, Catherine Ashton, Friday, Lavrov said talks with Iran to solve differences on the country's nuclear program are of importance.

At the same time, Lavrov reiterated Moscow's position that the use of force against Iran was unacceptable.

"We are convinced that the only way to solve all the issues concerning the Iranian nuclear program is through dialogue and negotiations," he said.

Expecting that Iran is to materialize its pledge to invite an IAEA team to inspect its nuclear facilities, which has raised hopes for serious talks, Lavrov expressed confident that problems relating to Iran nuclear program would be solved only through talks and negotiations.

He also noted "that Russia will try to help implementation of agreements, which call for peaceful and political settlement of all issues relating to Iran nuclear program."
