Between the stick of world powers threats and the carrot of surrendering to US wills, the Syrian internal scene seems strong and coherent away from media fabrications.

A Syrian diplomatic source told the BBC on Friday that Damascus had informed the League of its offer to allow monitors in, and that a few details were being worked out.
Media reports suggested that Damascus said it will accept a delegation of 40 observers - a smaller number than the 500 initially proposed by the AL.

Qassem: Lebanon Won't Turn to Passageway to Attack Syria
In Lebanon, the Deputy Secretary General of Hizbullah His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem hoped that the AL would have met to take decisive decisions against "Israel" even if those resolutions were to remain ink on papers i.e. unimplemented.
"We hoped that the Arab league voted for not to normalize relations with "Israel" and not to reach a compromise with it or even to the expulsion of the "Israel" and to support the Palestinian cause, but it seems that the Arab League is somewhere else," he explained.
Noting that "the AL doesn't want to bother "Israel" as some countries have relations with this Zionist entity," Sheikh Qassem addressed the Arab countries by saying "how do you treat your Arab brothers in this harsh way as you surrender to US orders while you don't see that the whole disaster lies in both American projects and "Israel's" existence."
"Let everyone keep in mind that a stable Syria serves the interests of Arabs, the region, the Syrian regime and its people," His Eminence stressed.
He also pointed out that "despite all existing pressures, there is a real resilience and real support of people that help in confronting this regional international conspiracy against Syria and the region."
Emphasizing that the situation in the region is "bubbling up due to US-"Israeli" conspiracy that targets our region," Qassem assured that that Lebanon "will not serve as a passageway to attack Syria regardless of all the movements which some groups in Lebanon are making."
He also hailed the Lebanese position at the AL rejecting Syria's suspension.
"
As long as the gold chain of army, people, and the resistance exists, no one can take Lebanon into foreign guardianship or be a conduit for the service of others goals," Qassem stressed.
Aoun: Syria's Negative Results to Affect Lebanon
For his part, Head of "Change and reform Bloc" MP Michel Aoun warned that "no one should think that any negative result on Syria won't have their effects on Lebanon."
"We can help because so that the results of what is happening in Syria turns to positive results. Do not think we are far from the events," he added.
He pointed out that "between the civil state in Syria and the Salafi extremist state, we are with the civil state, and we will help the civil state the word good."
"Dialogue is the best solution best for the construction of a new era and otherwise the situation will turn disastrous for all Arab countries as Western countries encourage this direction to control," Aoun concluded.
