It's independence Day.
After sixty-eight years of French colonial power's departure; Lebanon wrote with the blood of its martyrs pages entitled with glorified pride and dignified independence.
There on the Sothern Mountains and in deep valleys was the resounding victory on the Zionist entity.
Today after decades of the forties' independence, the Islamic Resistance recorded a victory of another kind that preserves the sovereignty and independence.

CIA's Failure in Lebanon
"The capture of several CIA informants in Lebanon earlier this year has damaged the US agency's intelligence operations in Lebanon," CIA officials admitted Monday.
Months after the Secretary General of Hizbullah His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah announced capturing of CIA agents in Lebanon, and away from previous US denials, the so called most complicated intelligence system in the world CIA admitted defeat.
Current and former US confessed that despite official denials by the U.S. Embassy in Lebanon Hizbullah did apprehend at least two CIA spies over the summer.
The officials also said the damage to the agency's operations in the country runs deeper than the captures themselves, as the CIA must now find out where it went wrong.
The US "Los Angeles Times" daily announced that up to 12 CIA informants have
been compromised in Beirut, and that, using the CIA's term for its post, "Beirut station is out of business."
U.S. officials confirmed to the Times that some CIA operations had been
suspended in Beirut last summer, but disputed the figure of a dozen. It is unclear, said the Times, whether operations have resumed.
In Tuesday interview with "as-Safir" Lebanese newspaper, US official unveiled that that the Director of Central Intelligence Agency David Petraeus emphasized the key role to combat the so called terrorism.
Describing Hizbullah as the "very complex enemy," the official claimed that "to talk about stopping the CIA activities in Beirut is nonsense."
"Hizbullah is a determined terrorist group, a power political player, a mighty military, and an accomplished intelligence organization formidable and ruthless. No one underestimates its capabilities," the US official claimed.
Suleiman: Lebanon has the Resistance Right
Meanwhile, Lebanese President Michel Suleiman reiterated Monday calling all the
Lebanese to maintain national unity and civil peace.
Addressing the nation on the eve of the 68th anniversary of Lebanon's independence from France, Suleiman called on Lebanese "to dissociate yourselves from whatever would adversely affect our national unity, civil peace and your legitimate dreams of a peaceful, secure and promising future, and commit at all times to the approach of dialogue, reason and moderation.
"At a time "Israel" is still occupying parts of our land, everyone knows that we have a right to resist and safeguard our territory. As the Lebanese show awareness of what is happening around them, they are still committed to any reformative step and just Arab cause, topped by the cause of Palestine," the president stressed.
For his part, Army commander General Jean Kahwagi called on troops to close ranks and protect Lebanon from the ramifications of popular upheavals currently sweeping the Arab world.
Referring the tripartite equation of the army, the people and the resistance as the best means to defend Lebanon against a possible "Israel" attack, Kahwagi said, "National duty calls on you more than ever to be fully ready in solidarity with your resisting people and in close cooperation with the U.N. peacekeeping forces in the south to confront the designs of the "Israeli" enemy which continues to violate the sovereignty of Lebanese territories, publicly declares its ambitions to our natural wealth and tries through its agents to spread its poisons in the fabric of our united society."
At another level, the government is expected to hold two sessions this week, one Wednesday under Prime Minister Najib Mikati in the Grand Serail and the second Friday under President Michel Suleiman at Baabda Palace.
Wednesday's session has 67 items on the agenda while ministers Friday will discuss pending draft laws from previous sessions and continue studying a draft law for the 2013 parliamentary elections forwarded by Interior Minister Marwan Charbel that calls for adopting proportional representation.
On the ministerial agenda Wednesday are requests for advance payments from the treasury by the ministries of Transport and Public Works, Defense, Justice, Education and Tourism and a request by the Environment Ministry to accept a $1.64 million grant from the Greek government.
Ministers are expected to discuss a draft law allowing the government to ratify an agreement for military cooperation between Lebanon and Jordan, along with a request by Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour to allow and finance a number of trips by a delegation from the ministry to Libya to follow up on investigations into the disappearance of Imam Musa Sadr and his two companions, Sheikh Mohammad Yaacoub and journalist Abbas Badreddine.
The government is not to discuss the item of funding for Special Tribunal for Lebanon this week.
