Zionist Plan of Building a Synagogue under Buraq Wall Threatens Al-Aqsa

Mufit of Occupied Palestine Sheikh Mohammed Hussein warned that the Zionist plan of building a synagogue underneath the Buraq wall west of al-Aqsa mosque would threaten its structure.
"The digging that is to take place directly under the Buraq "Western Wall" of al- Aqsa," Hussein uncovered.
Hussein charged that the proposal by "Israeli" rabbi Shmeul Rabinowitz to build a synagogue for women underneath the "Western wall was part of the "Israeli" attempt to Judaize the Buraq Wall and to wipe out the Arab and Islamic historical landmarks."
Urging "the world community to put an end to "Israeli" occupation's aggression on al-Aqsa mosque," Sheikh Hussein called "to protect it in face of "Israeli" threats."
Meanwhile, a joint "Muslim and Christian Commission in Support of al-Quds and the Holy Mosque" warned that the ""Israeli" proposed design was highly dangerous to the Haram al-Sharif compound as it would involve drilling directly under complex housing the mosque and the Dome of the Rock."
"If implemented, the plan would be the first direct drilling under the Old City's Haram al-Sharif, rather than through connected tunnels," it added.
Palestinians say "the projects are an attempt to take further control of the holy area, and that underground construction work caused the collapse of several Palestinian buildings in the Old City."
