“Israel” Approves New 650 Settlement Units North al-Quds
The so-called "Israeli" Regional Construction and Planning Committee at the occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem) Municipality, approved a plan to construct 650 new settlement units in Pisgat Zeev settlement illegally built in 1985 on Palestinians lands.
The Zionist settlement is located on lands belonging to residents of Beit Habiba and Hizma northern the occupied city of al-Quds (Jerusalem).
According to Khalil al-Tafakji, a Palestinians expert in maps and settlements, the said plan was officially approved, adding that the construction project was published in "Israeli" papers.
On this level, al-Tafakji also noted that the plan is part of a larger one that aims at constructing some 58000 units by the year 2030. It doesn't only include settlement units, but also malls, public facilities, institutions and hundreds of apartments and houses.
The Palestinians expert added that the Zionist construction work commenced on Road number 20, which according to him, will lead to more confiscation of Palestinian-owned lands belonging to residents of Beit Hanina.
"Israel" is constantly violating the international laws through continuing their illegal settlement activities in occupied Palestinians territories.
