Zeinab Essa

This is some of what was hidden.

US got worried and did not find a way but to leak some aspects of the defeat.

We felt in Hizbullah's trap: this is the bitter truth, but what was provided was worse and greater:

Resistance revealed the US den of espionage: diplomatic names were only a cover for the USA's CIA officers.

Objectives are clear: targeting Hizbullah, the resistance's leadership and people

Visions were set: Serving "Israel".

However, they again miscalculated the equation: O Stupid. This is Lebanon.

Resistance Narrates CIA Defeat in Lebanon:

In three reports broadcasted on "al-Manar" Channel Friday night, the Islamic resistance unveiled that CIA is using the US Embassy in Beirut as a den of Espionage against the resistance and its people.

"The CIA had a team of 10 officers, including women, who were assigned to recruit Lebanese spies tasked with gathering information on Hizbullah's officials and resistance men along with the addresses of their homes and the group's arms depots," the reports explained.

Uncovering some of the names of the officers, the report mentioned that all of the ten officers working in Beirut's station are covered diplomatically.

"The CIA officers were active in recruiting agents from various segments of the Lebanese society: government employees, security and military personnel, religious, banking and academic figures," the report said.

It also added that "agents' recruitment takes place inside the embassy building, while meetings with them were held in fast-food restaurants and cafes, MacDonald's, Pizza Hut and Starbucks."

Commenting on the report, "as-Safir" Lebanese daily viewed that "Hizbullah took the initiative, through "al-Manar" television stations, to strike at the Americans by broadcasting a detailed report about the structure of the CIA in Lebanon with names, dates and methods used by the agency during its operations."

"Surely, the US embassy didn't taste sleeping last night," the paper added.

For its part, "al-Binaa" newspaper wondered "how long will the spying embassy in Awkar continue enjoying diplomatic or "political" immunity although its activities contradict all norms of diplomacy as well as the Vienna Convention governing diplomatic representation and the nature and boundaries between countries.

For his part, "Loyalty to Resistance" Bloc MP Hassan Fadlalah confirmed that the
secret security war the resistance is waging against the American and "Israeli" intelligence agencies is achieving "resounding results despite the fact that what was announced is only a little of the results."

UNIFIL Blast:

At another security level, Lebanese national security, especially the South's security, was destabilized Friday with the attack on a French UNIFIL patrol.

France's Ambassador to Lebanon Denis Pietton and French Foreign Minister Alain Juppé both stressed that France will not yield to the attack and will continue operating within UNIFIL to preserve security and stability in Lebanon's south.

In parallel, Lebanese President Michel Suleiman, House Speaker Nabih Berri, Prime Minister Mikati commented on the UNIFIL attack, describing it as aterrorist attack aiming at exposing Lebanon to "Israeli" terrorism.

Similarly, Hizbullah denounced the suspicious attack targeting Lebanese security and stability in the first place.

Meanwhile, Lebanese Army as well as explosives experts from the French contingent serving with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon inspected the scene of the blast that injured five of the peacekeepers and launched an investigation.

During a governmental session at the Grand Serail, PM Mikati briefed ministers about the attack on UNIFIL in the south.

The government also looked into the steps that are expected to be taken in order to improve border controls between Lebanon and Syria.

Informing that the ministers would discuss the 2011 draft state budget next week, Information Minister Walid Daouq stressed that the government's Friday session was "one of the calmest ever."

Friday's session was regular as it did not include discussions on major and controversial issues.

Smuggling Wepons into Syria: UK, France in Lebanon

On the Syrian crisis, "al-Binaa" said that "French and British experts were overseen in the a training camp for armed groups, including elements of Lebanese and other nationalities in Arsal village, where they are trained to smuggle weapons into Syria, especially from the area of Wadi Khaled."

The paper's sources pointed to the existence of chaos related to "large arms smuggling in some areas starting from Akkar and Wadi Khaled area, headed by leading figures "Future" party, other religious figures."
