’’Israel’’ Targets AL-Quds: Capital of Jewish People
""Israeli" Knesset will discuss Sunday a draft law which considers al-Quds as the capital of "Israel" and the capital of the "Jewish people" at the same time.
The Zionist law stresses the centrality of "al-Quds" to the "Israeli" occupation and the Jewish people and aims to consolidate Zionist control over both east and west al-Quds on the pretext of "united "Jerusalem"" being the capital of the Zionist entity and the Jewish people.
A law was passed in the Knesset in 1980 which considered al-Quds "Jerusalem" to be the capital of the so-called state of "Israel".
The Field Researchers Association warned that this new law is part of the measures and practices taken by the occupation to try and obliterate any the Islamic, Arab and Palestinian character of the city and fake a Jewish identity to the holy city.
