Groups of Zionist settlers broke Monday into al-Aqsa Holy Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate.

Protected by intensive "Israeli" police, the Zionist attackers entered the mosque as small groups and toured in the courtyards of the holy place.

According to "Israeli" media sources, senior Jewish "Israeli" rabbis called on their supporters the end of last week, to invade al-Aqsa Mosque in the so-called "al-Hanukah" holiday or "Jewish lights" for the establishment of rituals and Talmudic rites in al-Aqsa in this occasion.

Knowing that this festival lasts for several days, hundreds of settlers Sunday night launched a provocative march through the streets of the Old City of al-Quds near al-Aqsa Mosque.

They deliberately raised the flags of the occupying entity, chanted slogans against the Arabs and the Palestinians, and demanded the expulsion of al-Quds people and deporting them from the Holy City.
