"Israeli" enemy have detained 3300 Palestinians in the year 2011 including women, children, lawmakers, and even disabled persons of all age categories.

The specialist in Palestinian prisoners' Abdulnasser Farwana confirmed Monday that the "Israeli" Offensive Forces detained an average 276 Palestinians per month or 9 daily.

He noted that "all detainees were from the West Bank and occupied al-Quds except 38 from the Gaza Strip including fishermen, who were captured at sea while fishing, or patients and accompanying relatives while on their way for treatment through the Beit Hanun "Erez" northern crossing."

""Israeli" forces detained nearly 470 Palestinians since the Oct. 18 release of 477 prisoners from "Israeli" jail in exchange for captured "Israeli" soldier Gilad Shalit," Ramallah-based rights group "Ad-Dameer" announced.

"This wave of arrests reveals that the exchange deal has not deterred "Israel's" policy of detention of Palestinians; rather, "Israeli" prisons are being refilled with almost the exact number of Palestinians that were released in October," the prisoners group had said.

Meanwhile, another statistics report issued by the European network for the defense of Palestinian prisoners indicated that "Israel" detained 40 Palestinian lawmakers since 2006, mostly from Hamas.
