’’Israel’’, US to Exercise Major Missile Drills

"Israeli" and American militaries are gearing up for a major missile war exercise.

The "Israeli" army described the drills "as the largest joint drill between the two sides."

Although the exercise, codenamed "Austere Challenge 12" comes after days of successful Iranian Navy drills, "Israeli" army claimed that
"The maneuvers were planned in advance."

"The exercise scenario involves notional, simulated events as well as some field training and is not in response to any real-world event," the military said in a written response to an AFP query.

Refusing to indicate the time of the drills, the statement added "the US European Command and the "Israeli" Forces periodically conduct routine exercises in "Israel"."

"Israeli" media reported that "the drills would get underway in the spring and would be the biggest ever joint maneuvers between the two allies."
