Furthermore, the Syrian President reiterated his country's determination to continue the ongoing process of reforms, citing some steps taken into force including the abrogation of emergency law, authorization of parties, local administration elections, information law, elections law, and the under-discussion anti-corruption law.

Moreover, President al-Assad affirmed that the new constitution will soon be put into public referendum, mentioning that some aspects of the constitution will include "political and party pluralism".
He indicated that "the people are the source of power especially through elections". President al-Assad stressed that the government will be expended, and will include all political forces and national opposition parties, with pointing out the importance of dialogue no matter what the issues were.

Whilst praising the Syrian people's steadfastness and awareness, he outlined that the second to none priority for Syrian is the restoration of security and fighting terrorism with an iron fist.
Also, shedding the light on the ongoing conspiracy against Syria, he denounced the failing media war, criticizing the role played by some Arabs to pave the way for foreign interference in their Syrian internal affairs.
