Hizbullah Denounces Excluding Zionist Practices against Palestinians in UNSC Briefing

Commenting on the UN Secretary General's short reference to the outcome of his region's visit in the monthly session at the UN Security Council, Hizbullah issued the following statement:
The people of the Arab, Islamic world and the region are vainly seeking a position or statement, or even an action or resolution from the UN that would tend to restore some of the trust, or maintain part of its [UN] collapsed credibility and seriousness.
However, this institution and its leaders keep on presenting evidence on its bias to the interests of the colonial countries and their conspiracy schemes.
Added up to this issue is the shortened reference by the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon at the UNSC monthly briefing on the situation in the Middle East. He didn't refer in his report to the issues of a grave dangerous impact on international peace and security; which is the essence of the UN's work and the center of its responsibilities. Among these issues are the Zionist practices against the Palestinian people; the killings and detentions, in addition to the frantic practices to Judaize the holy al-Quds (Jerusalem) and to join the Palestinian lands, through unprecedented upgraded settlement steps.
Hizbullah therefore strictly denounces the deliberate behavior of the chief international platform, whose duties are supposed to be tackling the issues that affect the international security and peace.
Hizbullah also believes that excluding the developments of the situation in occupied Palestine by the UN Secretary General, and not discussing them in the UNSC briefing, stands as evidence that this council is a clear ride for the policies of the world powers and the Zionist entity, in order to settle accounts and implement conspiracy schemes against the region and its people.
