Al-Aqsa Foundation: More than 100 Attacks on al-Aqsa in 2011

The al-Aqsa Foundation for Endowment and Heritage in the occupied Palestinian territories conducted a study in which it revealed that al-Aqsa Mosque and its surrounding area has been subjected to some 100 attacks and violations in 2011. Moreover, the study noted that the attacks varied between physical attacks and plots that represent threats to the sanctity and security of the holy mosque.
According to the documented study, around 5,000 "Israelis", including Zionist settlers, raided the holy al-Aqsa mosque in 2011, not only wrecked parts of the territory, but also performed Talmudic rituals; publically and secretly.
Also, the report noted a significant rise in the number of incursions by "Israeli" troops, tourists and official figures into al-Aqsa Mosque. On this level, an unprecedented "Israeli" military campaign was launched against the holy site; and measures included preventing Muslims from going to the mosque, decreasing the continuous Muslim presence in the Noble Sanctuary, through banning and limiting the entry to certain groups sorted by age, the foundation's study further indicated.

Moreover, the study affirmed that the occupation authorities also prevented Palestinian worshipers coming from Gaza Strip, from entering the occupied city of al-Quds (Jerusalem) and al-Aqsa Mosque, as a complimentary action to help Jewish organizations' appeals to destroy the mosque and replace it with a temple.
The said appeal was underway when the "Israeli" enemy started excavations and construction of long, interlinked tunnels underneath al-Aqsa Mosque and its surroundings, as well as proposing the demolition of the historic western Magharba Gate Bridge, in order to fulfill the Judaization scheme.
The report published by al-Aqsa Foundation also found that the "Israeli" enemy plans to transform the area surrounding the holy al-Aqsa Mosque into "Talmudic Gardens".
On this level, the al-Aqsa Foundation issued a warning that the "Israeli" enemy might attempt to deliberately destroy the holy mosque and its surrounding in 2012, and therefore called upon Muslims and Arabs to put al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the endangered al-Aqsa Mosque at the top pf their priorities to stop all "Israeli" threats.
