Islamic-Christian Committee Calls for al-Aqsa Mosque Protection

The Islamic-Christian Committee for protecting the occupied city of al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the holy sites, called on the Arab, Islamic and international nations to intervene and end the escalating "Israeli" assaults against the holy al-Aqsa Mosque.
Also, the committee highlighted the need for this interference especially amid the repeated attempts of "Israeli" settlers to enter the holy site in order to sabotage and wreck it.
On his part, secretary of the committee, Dr. Hanna Issa, stated that the "Israeli" attacks staged against the mosque, and all the attempts to overtake and demolish it in order to build the "temple", are very serious and must be stopped.
Moreover, Issa affirmed that the enemy authorities have established a network of tunnels underneath the mosque, in light of ongoing excavations, which therefore jeopardize the foundations of the sacred site.
On this level, he further indicated that while the Zionist settlers have been building illegal outposts and units surrounding the area of al-Aqsa, they are now threatening to demolish it.
The Islamic-Christian Committee concerned with the holy sites urged the al-Quds (Jerusalem) International Conference, which is currently held in Doha-Qatar, to support the occupied city and its native-endangered Arab population.
Addressing the 350 Palestinian figures taking part in the said conference, Dr. Issa reiterated his demand to act on ensuring the implementation of all resolutions concerned with Palestine, especially regarding the occupied city of al-Quds (Jerusalem), and the holy jeopardized religious sites.
