Al-Moussawi: Arab Movements Judged by Their Link to Palestinian Cause

"Loyalty to Resistance Bloc" MP Nawaf al-Moussawi stressed that "in light of what is happening in the Arab world of progress of themes in priority to the Palestinian issue, the judgment on any Arab movement is linked to its relation with the Palestinian cause."

"Any Arab movement that ranks the Palestinian cause below the first priority, whatever the tactical justification it presents, is highlighted by the questions and confusions, if not more," he added.

Wondering about "the Arabs' responsibilities towards Palestine and the right of its people," al-Moussawi confirmed that "we don't present this logic to score points, but because we belong to the thinking of the leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Khomeini...and to the thought of Imam Musa al-Sadr ."

"Between the land's heaven for the price of abandoning the support of Palestinian people, and to remain persecuted on charges of terrorism, we preferred in 2000 to stand with the Palestinian people and its struggle," the MP acknowledged.
