As US and "Israel" are escalating their threats against the Islamic Republic of Iran, anti-war demonstrators have held a protest rally in New York City against the US policy of aggression and threats on Tehran.

"We are really here representing those who say no war with Iran and that Iran has every right to development of nuclear energy," human rights activist Sara Flounders told Press TV.
Criticizing Washington's warmongering policies, the activist explained that "the US government was trying to continue its policy of endless wars throughout the world."

Similarly, other participants in the rally also condemned the US and "Israeli" warmongering policies in the Middle East, describing threats against other countries, including Iran, as outright aggression.
Over the past few months, the war rhetoric against Iran has gained momentum.

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Wednesday that Washington was adamant in preventing Tehran from allegedly achieving the "capability" of building nuclear weapons rather than actually producing one.

In parallel, US Air Force Chief of Staff General Norton Schwartz also said the same day that the Pentagon has prepared military options to strike Iranian nuclear energy facilities.
