Last on our list is Spikko, an "Israeli" VOIP service that offers users additional phone numbers in different localities. Users of Spikko receive a free additional number in their chosen locality.
Not only has the "Israeli" succeeded in breaching our telecommunication sector, but its web of espionage services might be present at every Lebanese home.
This isn't part of an advertisement but of facts unveiled recently.
In its Saturday edition, the Lebanese "al-Akhbar" Lebanese daily reported that more than 300 thousand Lebanese took part in the free service of "Viber" Telecom, despite the fact that this company is completely "Israeli".
"Israel's" Viber Media Inc. is an "Israeli" company that has developed an application for smart phones allowing users to make free calls and send text messages to each other.
Turning into a global hit, the company announced weeks ago that it has surpassed 50 million users with over a billion minutes of calls per month.
The announcement comes only 13 months after Viber launched its VoIP application.
"While Skype has reached 54 million users after only two and half years on the market, Viber reports an additional 200,000 people join their services every day," "Israeli" "Ynet" said last month.
Noting that Viber is an application for iPhone and Android phones based on internet and wireless technology, concerns are raised as this application is available in 193 countries.
It is worth mentioning that Viber is only one of many "Israeli" telecommunication companies that offer free calling services to its worldwide costumers.
A leader in the VOIP market, "Israeli" Jajah is an IP centered communications platform. Jajah's technology transports most of the communication involved in a telephone call over the internet, but ultimately connecting the users through a regular land-line. This means that Jajah can be used from an ordinary phone, and that the charges for calls are local.
Another "Israeli" Mobile only VOIP service is Fring that differs from others by not offering their own Networks but rather using others such as Skype, and GoogleTalk to mention a few.
Enabling its users to conduct free mobile video calling, voice calling, and chatting, Fring requires an active internet connection and works entirely on the user's data plan.
When used, the additional number re-routes conversations to the user's original number thereby circumventing expensive long distance charges. When the Spikko issued number is dialed from anywhere in the world the user's phone will ring if an internet connection is present.
