Archbishop Darwish: Sayyed Nasrallah Says Syria Approaches Stability, Reform

Lebanese Archbishop of the Melkite Greek-Catholic Diocese of Zahle and Furzol in the Bekaa, Issam Yohannah (John) Darwish, stressed that Hizbullah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is a "prominent Lebanese-Arab leader, and one of the world's most important figures".
"My meeting with him [Sayyed Nasrallah] aimed at enhancing Zahle's role and our strategic role as Christians in the Bekaa", Archbishop Darwish stated in an interview with OTV channel.
Moreover, Darwish noted that Sayyed Nasrallah told him the situation in Syria is approaching stability, security, dialogue and reform.
Darwish also added that he discussed with Nasrallah the general Lebanese situation, especially the situation in the Bekaa and Zahle area, regarding it as "a site that shouldn't be overlooked on the Lebanese national and spiritual levels".
