Israel’’ Airstrikes Gaza Killing At least 12, Resistance Vows to Respond

For the second day, "Israeli" warplanes continued to strike across the Gaza Strip overnight and early Saturday morning bringing the martyrs' toll to 12, and injuries to 20.
Islamic Jihad's military wing the al-Quds Brigades said in a statement that "10 of its resistance men fighters were martyred since Friday."
A Ma'an reporter identified the 12 martyrs as Mohammad al-Ghamry, Fayiq Saad, Muatasim Hajjaj, Ubeid Gharabli, Mohammad Hararah, Hazim Qureiqi, Shadi Sayqali, Zuhair al-Qaysi, Mahmoud Hanani, Mohammad Maghari, Mahmoud Najim, and Ahmad Hajjaj.
One of the martyrs was Zuhair al-Qessi, the head of the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC), which is an umbrella group that draws together resistance activists from different factions.
"Another was Mahmoud Hanani, a former prisoner freed in the deal for "Israeli" soldier Gilad Shalit," Gaza health ministry official said.
Medical sources, meanwhile, said 26-year old Mohammad al-Ghamry succumbed to wounds he sustained Saturday morning as "Israeli" warplanes targeted a car on Salah ad-Din Street off the coast in the central Gaza Strip.
In Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip, an "Israeli" airstrike killed Mohammad Maghari and Mahmoud Najim early Saturday.
Another "Israeli" raid injured four Palestinians from the same family as a rocket hit a basement on Yarmouk Street in Gaza City, according to medical sources.
In response, an-Nasser Salah Ad-Din Brigades, the PRC's armed wing, had promised a "seismic response to the earlier assassinations."
"We are not committed to the truce; we will respond very strongly to this "Israeli" crime," Abu Ataya, a spokesman for an-Nasser Brigades, told AFP.
Similarly, Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas military wing, threatened Friday to "retaliate over "Israel's" crimes against the rights of the Palestinian people and the commanders of the resistance in Gaza."
