Sheikh Yazbek: US Administration Exploits Lebanon Amid Regional Unrest
Head of Hizbullah Juristic Council His Eminence sheikh Mohammad Yazbek criticized the recent "request" by US Ambassador to Lebanon Maura Connelly, in which she demanded Lebanon to give "sanctuary for refugees of the rebel "Free Syrian Army".
Moreover, Sheikh Yazbek confirmed that "through its Ambassador, the US administration sought to exploit Lebanon as an arena for the blizzards and divisions taking place in the region. "They want to make it [Lebanon] a theater for conflicts between the people of this region, and among the children of one hometown", His Eminence indicated.
Also, Sheikh Yazbek praised the self-distancing policy adopted by Lebanon to avoid falling into conflict, and to prevent the repercussions of the Arab crises from reflecting on the internal arena.
