"Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc" MP Ali Fayyad stressed that there is a change in the international tone towards the Syrian file.

Highlighting the positive indication of such tone, Fayyad viewed that "this language calling for a political solution is not sufficient."
"It is required to encourage all fair Syrians to set themselves under the umbrella of reform process after the ratification of the new constitution," he added.
During an educational ceremony in South Lebanon, the MP warned that "any promotion of violence in Syria is an attempt to disrupt its stability."

Fayyad Asserted that "those who think that violence would change the regime in Syria suffer from illusion", pointing out that "violence results in chaos and discord."

"The instability of Syria is not in anyone's interest," he said, calling for a responsible handling of the Syrian file.

He further affirmed that "after the announcement of the new constitution and the crackdown on hotbeds of armed Syrian areas, those keen on Syria must call on all Syrian parties to restore dialogue, unity, and stop the bloodshed."
Calling all Syrian parties to move in the process of reform that would lead to the development of political life and system in the country, he addressed the internal Lebanese and foreign voices seeking to implicate the Lebanese arena in the repercussions of the Syrian file by saying:

"You do not take into account the interests of Lebanon and the application of the Taif Accords, which stipulated that Lebanon could not be a conduit or the post for targeting Syria."
