President Lahoud: Fearless Lebanese Army Won’t be Breached by Destabilizing Cells
Former Lebanese President Emile Lahoud affirmed that "the fearless Lebanese Army's fighting doctrine has become rigid in the eastern frontline, whether in confronting the "Israeli" enemy and participating with the leading resistance in its victory, or in confronting the extremist fundamentalist terrorism, and ripping out its roots."
"The Lebanese army is far from being breached by the cells which work to destabilize the Lebanese entity and the coexistence pact," President Lahoud stated.
In a statement issued by his media bureau, President Lahoud added, "The Army, with its leaderships, staff, generals, lieutenant, and soldiers, are all one army that experienced division and fusion, and reached the peak of its strength in its unity and adherence to national essentials and basics, which therefore make it a target for the weakening schemes, which are inevitable to fail."
"Like Lebanon, so is the case in Syria, for the armed conspirers had enough of their plans' failure and bets' collapse [...], thanks to the steadfastness of the Syrian army, and the people's trust in the strong, patient, and wise leadership, led by President Bashar al-Assad," Lebanese former President added.
"This despair that hit the armed [groups] abusing Lebanon's security and stability, explains the fallback of the global campaign against Syria, the collapse of the fort of turbulence, and the escape of some Arab leaders towards vain. This comes especially in light of the blatant Arab League silence towards the "Israeli" enemy's aggression on the besieged Gaza and its innocent civilians, leading to the martyrdom of many unarmed children, women and men," Lahoud further added.
Also, President Lahoud affirmed that the time of choice decisiveness has come in Lebanon and the region, and the time of wrong bets has gone.
