Syrian Ambassador Praises Lebanese Army, Confirms Syria’s Reform-Path

Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdul Karim Ali congratulated the Lebanese Army for disclosing the terrorist cell among its brigades, believing that this discovery has presented a source of awareness and security to avoid "mines planned to explode in this dear country."
"This revelation also represented immunity for this national apparatus," Abdul Karim Ali added.
After his visit to Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour, the Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon stated, "The meeting with the Foreign Minister as usual revolved around the bilateral relations and coordination between both countries' ministries."
"We also discussed latest attempts to implant conflict among social spectrums in Syria and the region, and the importance of integration and coordination between all those concerned on the Lebanese and Syrian level, in regards to what immunizes both countries," he went on to say.
Also, Abdul Karim Ali added, "We also tackled the situation inside Syria, the successful steps led in confronting and extirpating the extremist forces, in addition to the foreign incitement and the regrettable role played by the media."
Ambassador Abdul Karim told Minister Mansour that the situation is heading towards an open dialogue that includes all national Syrian spectrums.
Regarding the deadline to implement the five-point paper addressed at the Arab Foreign Ministers' meeting, in presence of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the Syrian Ambassador stated that "the five points refer to the extremist groups and its supporters, and therefore the Syrian [government's] efforts are clear, honest and announced, which means Syria is doing its duty to confront all outlaws, and those conducting all ugly crimes."
"Therefore, Syria welcomes all serious and responsible efforts, not those that are trying to rotate facts. That is why we are optimistic regarding the Russian and Chinese stances and efforts that are keen on avoiding [...] division in the region, which would strengthen "Israel" on the expense of the regional countries," Abdul Karim Ali reiterated.
"Syria will get out of its crisis stronger in confronting this confusing conspiracy. Reforms are going in a fast pace, and dialogue would result in national consensus and awareness that become bigger in rejecting these schemes," he further added.
