MP Moussawi: Resistance Weapons, Moral Choice to Defend Lebanon Against “Israel”
Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Hussein Moussawi responded to the latest statement by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon concerning the resistance weapons. On this level, MP Moussawi indicated that "every once in a while, the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon expresses a new "racist" reading on how to implement resolution 1701 from the Lebanese side, implying that Hizbullah's weapons represent a threat on Lebanon's sovereignty."
"Your unfair reading of the resolution[‘s implementation] comes in the context of what is illustrated for the region by the dominating US administration. The US orders you and your team to serve its interests and the greed of the Zionist entity," Moussawi addressed Ki-moon in his remarks.
Moreover, MP Moussawi wondered, "Where was this organization [UN] when the Zionists were hovering in the skies of Gaza, killing children, women, and elders?"
Also, he iterated that the UN stood as a "false witness" on the "Israeli" occupation of the Lebanese lands, waters, and airspace; further indicating that this occurred in presence of international resolutions, none of which were implemented due to the US vetoes."
"What role does this organization play in the resolutions related to the Palestinian refugees' right of return to their homes? Isn't it supported by the international organization to topple this right and topple the Palestinian cause? What has it done regarding the bloody terrorist attacks in Iraq, Syria, and the rest of the region?" Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP noted.
MP Moussawi also indicated that through the UN, "Israel" was "awarded for its aggressions, occupations and crimes," while Iran is sanctioned for doubt on its peaceful nuclear program.
"The leaders of this organization got us accustomed to neglecting the lives of the region's people and their fatal causes. We will adopt the policy of "neglecting the unjust resolutions", as long as this organization supports aggressions and assaults against the vulnerable people," Moussawi went on to say.
Furthermore, MP Moussawi concluded, "We confirm to UN Secretary General that the resistance weapons is a weapon of right and will remain as such [...] It is our moral choice to defend all Lebanon which is threatened only by the "Israeli" racist criminal aggressions."
