According to informed sources, the regime forces attacked Friday several villages including the village of Shahrakan, where many peaceful protesters were injured.
"Dozens of civilians were also wounded after security forces fired tear gas and used water canon to break the protests," activists added.
Clashes were also reported between regime forces and protesters as thousands rallied in villages around the capital, Manama.

The demonstrators protested against the Bahraini government's brutality and called for the ouster of the al-Khalifa regime.
An elderly woman, identified as 59-year-old Abde Ali, also martyred on Friday from inhaling tear gas fired by regime forces in the village of Jidhafs near the capital.

Thousands of Bahrainis took to the streets across the country to take part in the funeral procession of those killed in recent regime crackdown on protesters.
In the town of Diraz, the protesters called for the trial of those who demolished places of worship.
Dozens of mosques and religious mourning halls have been destroyed over the past year.

Meanwhile, the UN High Commission for Human Rights said this week it wanted to "investigate possible disproportionate use of force against demonstrators in Bahrain, citing excessive use of tear gas and a rising death toll."
