Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa said that the Arab initiative is very clear.
"The pro-government party will not have the simple majority in the coming government and the opposition will not obtain the obstructing one-third," Moussa said after a meeting held at the parliament between MPs Saad Hariri, Michel Aoun, former President Amin Gemayel and himself.
"An agreement was reached over some points, while other requires additional consultations," he added.
Moussa noted that his visit to Damascus tomorrow is still on and that he that he will meet with Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad and other officials.
"We have agreed to meet again after my return from Damascus," Moussa declared.
"I agree with Army commander General Michel Sleiman over the need to prevent the explosion of the situation in Lebanon," he added.
Moussa said he had conducted intensive consultations with some Arab foreign ministers over the situation in Lebanon.
"I cannot give a final impression and I will not talk about details," he added.
