Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Hassan Fadlallah believed that Lebanon needs a new electoral law through which the country could develop and attain proper representation on the national level, away from any sectarian effects.
In this context, MP Fadlallah pointed out to [Under US Secretary of State for Middle Eastern Affairs] Jeffery Feltman's appeal on his [Lebanese] "allies" to be prepared for the elections. Fadlallah criticized the "[electoral] battle launched by the US administration."

"Lebanon should rule by means of a domestic equation, away from any foreign pressure that failed in 2005 and 2006," Fadlallah indicated.
On the governmental level, MP Fadlallah believed that "the government's dilemma lies in the lack of implementing its own decisions."
"We will always seek [the government's] decisions' implementation, making sure that it does not work on a slow pace, because people have high expectations on the level of their social, economic, and developing causes," Loyalty to the Resistance MP iterated.
"We have important capabilities on the governmental level; however, the problem is that there are invisible hands that interfere to hinder the government's work [...]," MP Fadlallah asserted.

Stressing the importance of the Lebanese people's needs, Fadlallah stated that although the government has succeeded a great deal on the political and security levels, it is not fair to leave some people's affairs unresolved.
On the Syrian level, Fadlallah believed that "In Lebanon, some parties bet on change in Syria and on the collapse of the government, but these bets are fading."
"Out of our concern on our country and its unity, firmness, and stability, we call on that team to reconsider its stance because the developments prove day after day that Syria will not collapse," MP Fadlallah added.

On another level, MP Fadlallah took part in an afforestation campaign in the southern village of Rchaf's natural protectorate, under the auspices of Lebanon's Agriculture Ministry.
After launching the campaign, Fadlallah noted that "the message of this protectorate is that this land is ours and we hold on to it."
He further praised "the Lebanese army's efforts to get rid of the waste left behind by the occupation, including mines and cluster bombs."
"We are all responsible for combating this constant crime implanted in our land by the "Israeli" enemy, like we fought against the occupation and resisted via means of the army, people, resistance equation," MP Fadlallah went on to say.

Also, Jihad al-Binaa Association, elements of the Lebanese Army, members of the UNIFIL, and other youth, scouts, and civil organizations took part in the campaign to plant 3,000 trees.
