Suleiman: Issue of Kidnapped Men Our Core Interest

Lebanese President Michel Suleiman vowed Friday to follow up the case of the 11 kidnapped Lebanese men by Syrian rebels.
"The case is at the core of my interest and personal follow-up," the President clarified.
During his meeting with a delegation of the hostages' families at the Presidential Palace, the President emphasized that "efforts and contacts continue by the state with the concerned regional sides."
Suleiman further expressed his relief over the confirmation by Arab and Turkish officials about the safety of the 11 Lebanese pilgrims, abducted in Aleppo last month.
The families' delegation was accompanied by MPs Ghazi Zeaiter and Ali Ammar.
Suleiman also met today with former Ministers Karam and Youssef Salame over the current general situation.
He later received former Deputies Mosbah Al-Ahdab and Assaad Harmoush, with talks featuring high on most recent political and security developments in the North and the related measures adopted by the army and security forces.
The Secretary General of the Lebanese-Syrian Higher Council, Nasri Khoury, had also been to Baabda today for talks with the President over the council's work and the current juncture on the internal scene in Syria.
Sleiman later received General Security Chief, Brigadier General Abbas Ibrahim.
