MP Ibrahim Kanaan: A purely Lebanese solution is required

MP Ibrahim Kanaan of the Change and Reform bloc said that only a unified political decision would protect Lebanon's security and constitutional institutions.
"There must be a minimum common vision in these circumstances," Kanaan told the Voice of Lebanon radio station.
He also called on the Lebanese to vow not to resort to war like in the past.
Kanaan commented that there is no alternative to the Memorandum of Understanding between Hezbollah and the Free Patriotic Movement in response to those criticizing it.
He also reiterated the FPM's willingness to dialogue. "What is needed is a purely Lebanese solution," Kanaan said.
