MP Hashem: Saint Mikhael blood incidents are a massacre

MP Qassem Hashem of the Development and Liberation bloc described Sunday's incidents in Mar Mikhael as a massacre.
"This massacre is very dangerous. Only an immediate and transparent investigation assigning responsibilities and imposing sentences on those responsible would alleviate the pain and suffering of the victims' families," Hashem said.
Commenting on the expected visit of Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa, Hashem said that it might be set for the beginning of the coming month.
"What are more important than the visit itself are the results it is expected to reach. Is Moussa bearing anything new on the initiative's interpretation? Or will he insist on his previous interpretation favoring February 14?" he asked.
