Resigned Minister Trad Hamadeh said that the recent Arab foreign ministers meeting laid ground for a potential intra-Lebanese agreement if the pro-government party accepts the establishment of a national-unity government in which the opposition has efficient participation.
"The problem in Lebanon is the pro-government party and the government's rejection of participation and their insistence on monopolizing power," Hamadeh said.
He also said that the government is still acting as if the July War never happened and as if the resistance didn't triumph.
"The government is rejecting the principle of participation with those who won the 2006 July War," he added.
