Sheikh Yazbeck: Connelly Visit to Beirut Airport Proves Lebanese Assistance

Head of Hizbullah Juristic Board His Eminence Sheikh Mohammad Yazbeck urged the Lebanese government to take required measures towards some diplomats who do not respect the rules of the country, noting that "The US ambassador's visit to Beirut airport to search for answers on whether the Ayoub drone took off from Beirut airport."

Hizbullah's drone "Ayoub" which flew over occupied Palestine for some time before it was downed by the "Israeli" air force has preoccupied the "Israelis" during the past few days.

On Friday, Maura Connelly, the US Ambassador to Lebanon, made an unusual visit to the offices of the Middle East Airlines (MEA), the Lebanese national carrier, in another breach to diplomatic norms in Lebanon.

Yazbeck noted that such a visit would not have taken place if it weren't for Lebanese help and facilitations.
