Head of Hizbullah's International Relations, Ammar Moussawi received the Japanese ambassador to Lebanon, Seiichi Otsuka, where both parties deliberated local and regional updates.

Talks tackled the Syrian crisis and its repercussions, particularly regarding the increase of Syrian migrants in Lebanon, its related burdens on the Lebanese government, and the global community's responsibility to provide vital support in order to meet the migrants' needs.

"Serious efforts to put an end to the bloodshed in Syria is crucial," Moussawi stressed, reiterating, "This can be achieved through ceasing all types of weapon smuggling and funding from some regional countries, which aims at extending the period of conflict."

Moreover, Moussawi displayed Hizbullah's view regarding the electoral law talks, underlining "the significance of producing an electoral law that allows true representation of all Lebanese groups."
