Member of Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Nawwaf Moussawi reiterated, "The [opposing] Future Bloc's refusal of the proportionality electoral law attempts to prevent revealing its true worth."

In a memorial held in the Southern village of Tiri, Moussawi questioned, "Did the Future Bloc ask its Shiite allies of an electoral law suitable to them, because if that was so, it would have heard approval of adopting the proportionality law."
"We hold responsibility of ratifying a new electoral law, since the current law lost legislative validity once essential constituents of the civil and political community refused it," he further accentuated.

Moreover, Moussawi pointed out, "Constitutional due periods await us, chiefly the parliamentary elections," underscoring, "if we want a strong, just, and independent country, we must hold elections that contain political forces in parliamentary mediums only."

"Procrastination will not work since elections must be based on an acceptable new law parties sought for," the MP stressed, highlighting, "we can reach consensus."
"Carrying the resistance's weaponry as an excuse to refuse proportionality accuses a large group of Lebanese of cowardice, since those who faced the "Israeli" enemy embrace the resistance before voting for it in elections," Moussawi underscored.
"Lebanon has an opportunity to renew political life and build constitutional institutions accurately representing the Lebanese people, and at that time the true representatives arrive to the parliament, and political deliberations would then take place in the Parliament, not on the streets," Moussawi concluded.
