Sheikh Qassem Condemns US-"Israeli" Campaigns to Slander Hizbullah

Hizbullah's Deputy Secretary General, His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem commented on accusations against Hizbullah, stating, "All accusations on Hizbullah is a result of US-"Israeli" agendas."

In an interview with Lebanese as-Saffir daily, His Eminence preferred not to directly comment on the American-"Israeli" campaign regarding the Bulgarian bombing incident and placing Hizbullah on the terrorist organization list of Europe, pointing out, "Whatever the campaigns, and whatever their opinion of us, this will not anything. While [Americans] offered talks with us, we said, ‘Change your mentality, and admit to the legitimate rights of the people.'"

Moreover, Sheikh Qassem stated, "Everyone knows that there is an international laudation of the current stability in Lebanon, and European leaders admit that the main reason is Hizbullah's stance, albeit its ability to change domestic balances by force. In addition, there are public statements from France that give absolute care to good relationships with Hizbullah."
