Member of Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, MP Hassan Fadlallah viewed that those who want to weaken the Lebanese Army and target its weapon wish that "Israel" desecrates Lebanon as they wished that Syria and its Army are exposed and weakened.

Fadlallah: Desecration of Resistance, LA Losing BidIn a memorial held in the Southern village of Maroun al-Ras, Fadlallah reiterated that such bids are a losing bet and are never to be achieved.
He further stressed, "This resistance, these people, and this Army shall not waver no matter how hard they try to target it."
Moreover, Fadlallah iterated, "We cannot back down from confronting "Israel", which waits the opportunity to frighten us and impose an aggression as well as a psychological war on Lebanon."
"We know, however, that "Israel" is hostile and aggressive, and will not hesitate to declare a war on us when we are weak, and that is why we cannot back down and must stay strong and our weapon is ready to face any aggression on Lebanon," he added.

In parallel, Fadlallah stated: "There is an attempt to obstruct everything in our country ever since a certain political party [March 14] boycotted the government."
"They attempted to hinder the country, obstruct the Army from performing its security duties through provocation, placing restraints, and turning the public opinion on it," the MP added.

He further accused the same party of "attempting to obstruct the judiciary through attacking and terrorizing it, to impede the country's economy through hitting the financial and economic situations in Lebanon, and to obstruct the government from achieving any accomplishment."
He further pointed out, "There is not an applicable electoral law in Lebanon since the 1960s law is dead," underlining, "Reaching the due date of the elections without agreeing upon a law is an attempt to obstruct the elections."
"The party that prevents this agreement is the party seeks to prevent elections because it still bids on change of events in Syria," Fadlallah confirmed.
Meanwhile, he emphasized: "There is no way that we could enforce a law that adopts the outdated majority system, which hindered and divided the country; we want a law that achieves true representation."

Furthermore, the MP called for dialogue and partnership.

"We neither want to isolate or exclude anyone from being represented nor to allow anyone to monopolize power," he affirmed.
