Member of Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Nawwaf Moussawi stated, "Lebanon witnessed a phase that any democratic country would face, namely the government's resignation," noting "We face two deadlines; naming a new Prime Minister, forming a government, and then holding parliamentary elections."

During a memorial ceremony, Moussawi reiterated, "One must take into consideration when assigning a Prime Minister the pillar of resistance and the pillar of a true partnership when making decisions, not an adornment to a government that does not provide partnership."

"This government must consider stability and be trusted to hold elections that reflect correct representation based on an electoral law that is not dead and inexistent," Moussawi added.

"March 14 forces suspended the parliament for 9 months and now propose what they want," he noted, pointing out "the sacrifices the resistance offered to liberate Lebanon and the unwavering sacrifice and aid to those who are invaded and occupied."
"All that the US administration supports is a policy that aims at guaranteeing "Israeli" interests, and we consider today that being an ally to the US administration is equal to the functional support of the Zionist entity," he accentuated.

"Any political conflict about how the political administration of any country is handled must maintain national sovereignty and dialogue and stay away from civil fighting, and this is particularly true in Syria" the MP added.
