Qabalan: The ongoing state of affairs does not serve Lebanon

Deputy President of the Higher Islamic Shiia Council Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan said that the source of concern for Lebanon is not the enemy, but the performances of Lebanese politicians.
He also called on all Lebanese to reject sectarian grandstanding. "We call on them to resort to reason and logic. Everyone has power, but not reason and good management," Qabalan said in his sermon during Friday's prayer.
"The ongoing state of affairs does not serve Lebanon," he said.
He added that he supports weapons to be used against "Israel", but not weapons threatening the country's unity, partnership and communal living.
