’Israeli’ Channel 10: Assad’s Interview Timing Not a Coincidence

Arab Affairs Editor in the "Israeli" Channel 10 described the timing of Syrian President Bashar Assad's interview with Lebanese al-Manar TV that aired on Thursday as "not a coincidence", since Assad now, with Iran and Russia's support feels victorious to threaten "Israel".

"Assad also sent his Foreign Minister Walid al-Mouallem to al-Mayadeen TV that advocates Hizbullah and Syria to threaten "Israel"," he added.

For his part, the Military Affairs analyst in Channel 10 stated that the motive behind the Syrian threats is from the "Israeli" officials' statements, especially the War Minister Moshe Yaalon's statements.

The analyst reiterated that Assad's announcement of receiving the first batch of S-300 missile system must be treated with reservation, since Assad's statements convey a lot of psychological war.

Moreover, he said that even if these missiles arrived to Syria, Syrians need months so this system would become operational.
