Sheikh Qaouk: Hizbullah Will Protect People in al-Bekaa Valley and Dahieh

Deputy Head of Hizbullah's Executive Board His Eminence Sheikh Nabil Qaouk stated, "After extending the mandate of the Lebanese Parliament, we face a challenge of forming a new government; not an electoral government, but a political national government bearing the responsibility of managing the country, dealing with crises, and overcoming challenges."

During a memorial for the martyr Khodor Nasrallah in the southern village of Qana, His Eminence stressed, "March 14 forces must stop their bids on investing in the Syrian crisis and waiting for the regime to fall for them to turn around equations."

"Our stance in Syria is connected to fortifying the protection of the resistance and banning it from being besieged and depleted, since "Israel" found events in Syria to be an exceptional opportunity to turn equations around," he added.

""Israel" bid on the resistance's weakness, but the resistance continues to achieve accomplishments and enhances its abilities to become ready for any upcoming confrontation with the enemy," His Eminence noted.

Moreover, Sheikh Nabil Qaouk called on March 14 to condemn the assaults on Lebanese sovereignty, because the armed men in Syria bombing Lebanese borderline villages are an assault on all Lebanese sects.

"We, in Hizbullah, are capable of providing protection to our people and punishing murderers who attack Lebanese sovereignty. As we bore responsibility in protecting our people from "Israeli" raids, bombing, and attacks, we will not fall short from protecting our people in al-Bekaa valley [near the Syrian border] and al-Dahieh [Southern Suburbs of Beirut]," Sheikh Qaouk reiterated.
