Hizbullah Strongly Slams Sheikh Maher Hammoud’s Assassination Attempt

Commenting on the assassination attempt of Imam of al-Quds Mosque in Sidon Sheikh Maher Hammoud on Monday dawn, Hizbullah issued the following statement:

Hizbullah strongly condemns the blasphemous attempt of assassinating the Grand Islamic and national icon His Eminence Sheikh Maher Hammoud, and believes that it targets his comprehensive role, considering that His Eminence was and still is a safety valve that mends partition and conciliation in Sidon and on the national scale.
