Local Editor
As extremists from all over the globe flooded into Syria, more of their atrocities are uncovered with time.
However, this time European extremists were the "heroes" of the alleged freedom.
Belgian TV channel broadcasted on Friday a video recorded in Syria showing terrorists speaking French and Dutch with a Belgian accent before beheading a man.
The Belgian Federal Office of the Attorney General said that the video, which was broadcast by the Flemish channel VTM, will be examined as part of an investigation of Belgians heading to Syria to fight there.
The video showed an older man who is lying on the floor, either dead or passed out, while youths cheering in Dutch with a distinct Belgian Flemish accent as one of them decapitated the man with a knife.

According to the accompanying text with the video, the beheading took place in March this year.
According to Belgian authorities, dozens of Belgian citizens traveled to Syria to fight alongside armed groups affiliated with al-Qaeda, with most of these men coming from Flanders and Brussel.
The Belgian Interior Minister Joëlle Milquet said at a conference of European Interior Ministers that an estimation of 600 to 700 Europeans that are believed to be fighting in Syria.
Milquet told journalists that such films show the necessity of the tougher measures brought in by the Belgian Government to prevent Belgians from going to fight in Syria.
Meanwhile, the Belgian man whose teenage son is fighting along the rebels in Syria , Yee-yoon Bon-tinck, said he fears his son will end up killed in Syria.
It is worth mentioning that hundreds of extremists from Europe are fighting along the armed groups in Syria, on top of which is the al-Nusra terrorist front.
Thus, European media continue expressing fear that by the end of Syria crisis, these extremists will transfer their ideologies and atrocities to their countries.
On the official level, Spanish Interior Minister Alberto Ruiz Gallardon said his country was mulling legislation enabling the intrusion of terrorist suspects' computers.
This comes as UK and France continue pressuring the international community to arms Syria rebels. So what's next?!
