Deputy Chief of Hizbullah's Executive Board His Eminence Sheikh Nabil Qaouk held the opposition's March 14 forces accountable for the delay in forming the government, since the latter "bids on topple of the Syrian regime and change in balances."

In a memorial ceremony Hizbullah held for the martyr Hussein Talal Chalhoub from the Southern village of Tayrfelsay, Sheikh Qaouk addressed March 14 forces by saying, "Lebanon is in no place to have new crises take place in it."

"If the US wants to veto Hizbullah's participation in the government, you must not listen to it since it is weaker than to impose its will on a country called Lebanon the Resistant and Victorious," he added.

Moreover, Sheikh Qaouk reiterated Hizbullah's stance in hastening the formation of a new government based on proactive partnership and national unity, highlighting, "March 14's plot is a monopolization plot...while Lebanon needs stability."

"March 14 forces' greatest scandal is that they were involved in enkindling the fire in Syria two years and four months ago, and they are the ones who provoke their allies daily to shell al-Bekaa valley on the Army, Resistance and people," His Eminence argued.

He further noted that the battlefield is the truthful witness of the resistance's unbreakable resolve. "When pressures and threats increased, we were spirited with resistance and confrontation. All battlefields witness that we do not fear war and are not subject to extortion."

Furthermore, Qaouk said, "It is a shame that financial, political, and media support go to the so-called Free Syrian Army and not the Lebanese Army. All media outlets and MPs belonging to the other party support the FSA and not the LA."
