Head of Loyalty to the Resistance Parliamentary Bloc MP Mohammad Raad reiterated, "Whoever defends his existence, resistance, and country against the US-Takfiri-Zionist plot merely defends the nation for sovereignty, stability, and civil peace."

In a memorial ceremony Hizbullah held for the martyr Yassine Abbas Sabra, Raad pointed out, "Some politicians use Takfiris as a scarecrow, bidding that we would comply," adding that both models are two sides of the same coin, sometimes wearing silky gloves to fight the resistance with diplomacy and monetary and economic politics, and other times murdering, slaughtering, and distorting.

Raad: We will Not Allow Anyone to Step out of National Pillars
"After [the opposition] March 14 group cried with disappointment and failure, they received instructions from their masters to refuse Hizbullah to be represented in the next government, as if they can govern the country without Hizbullah," he added.

"Since we represent a significant portion of our people in Lebanon, no one can deny our existence, role, or participation in the national political decision," Raad remarked.

"We will not accept anyone to betray or step out of national pillars, and we also will not accept deceit. You raise the slogan of applying the Taif Accord, so let us now apply this accord with its reformist clauses," he added.

Moreover, MP Raad clarified that "we do not want to exclude anyone, since we are sons of a single nation."

"If you want true citizenship, let us stand equal in front of the law in our duties and rights, and let us form a government that provides the reasonable amount of justice and balanced development. Let us reach the peak of authority that does not want anything but to serve its people and support its causes," the MP said.
