Iraq Sadr Declares 3 Days of Mourning for Moghnieh

Iraq's Shiite leader Moqtada al-Sadr on Thursday condemned the assassination of Lebanese Hizbullah commander Imad Moghnieh and declared three days of mourning, his office said. "Moqtada al-Sadr issued a statement announcing mourning for three days in all Sadrist offices for the martyrdom of Imad Moghnieh," his headquarters said in a statement.
"The Sadrist movement totally condemns the assassination," said the statement, issued from Sadr's office in the central city of Najaf.
